"Amateur hour from start to finish. I called because I'm moving to a new state and am therefore required to switch to a new State Farm agent. Jerry wasn't sure how to switch me over, what information he needed, or when he could confirm my new policy. After several phone calls, bouts of sitting on hold, and emails, Jerry then tried to tell me I need $1 million in personal liability. I had to tell him no multiple times, as that's pretty excessive for a tiny apartment. He then sent the declaration for my new renter's policy — with the wrong address. I finally gave up and called another local agent. Update: After clearly telling Jerry the same day that all of this went down that I wouldn't be working with their State Farm office, he failed to cancel the policy he was trying to set up for me. A few days later, I received an email invoice and had to request again that he cancel it. Yet another update: A few weeks later, I received yet another invoice for the policy I had asked them to cancel the same day this all originally happened. Seriously?"
